Midnight Call

Time: 1am

The little one scrambled up my bed and snuggled close to me.

G: I love you very much Mummy.
M: :) I love you too.
G: Mummy, why did Jesus died on the cross?
M: Huh???
G: Why did the bad people put Jesus on the cross?
M: Errrr.... let's sleep first and we'll talk about this in the morning, ok?
G: Oh... ok....

Definitely not a good time to start such conversation when I cannot even think straight.
