Say "Awwwwwww" Moment #2

G: Mummy, Mummy...
M: What is it, Gabriel?
G: I'm so happy.
M: Whay are you happy?
G: (thinking) Cos I love you, Mummy.

If only Fred was around to hear that. :)

Our little SPONGE!

G: Let's leave Daddy alone ok, Mummy?
M: Huh? Why?
G: Cos he's watching tennis.
(We saw some ants earlier and he wanted to step on them. I told him to leave them alone.)


G: Don't disturb Daddy ok, Mummy?
M: Why?
G: Cos he's sleeping.
(Sometimes when I am busy with things, I'll tell him not to disturb me.)


I was telling Nigel not to do something and that I would take away his toy if he did it again.
G: Stop Keke. You want Aunty Bihye to take it away?
(Aunty Bihye refers to me in his Keke's context)


He is getting quite good relating things in context these days and his brain absorbs like a sponge, especially things you say. I have to be really careful with what I say!

We survived!!

Yay! We survived our weekend at ME. But more importantly Gabriel survived without us the whole weekend too! In fact his Mama and Kong Kong said that he was a very good boy. He only asked for us on the night we left. He had totally forgotten about us the whole of Saturday and Sunday, and made life very easy for his grandparents. He seemed to be totally enjoying himself!

This means we can do this more often, right? :)

Thank you so much Mum and Dad for taking care of Gabriel while we were away at Marriage Encounter Weekend 336!

The first

Tonight will the first night that Gabriel will be sleeping with his Mama and Kong Kong. And he will be doing so tommorow night as well... scary thoughts.. for his Mama and Kong Kong as he may just wake up in the middle of the night screaming for me. (He looks for me at about 2plus every night, to ask me to lie down with him) We have no idea when this will stop but hopefully Mama and Kong Kong can change that from this weekend onward. :)

Fred and I are not going for a second honeymoon or anything like that but for ME to recharge our marriage after 5 years together as a married couple. We were quite unsure for a long long time whether to go or not, but we finally said that we would.. and now... we're uncertain how Gabriel is going to be taking it.

Ah well.. we will all find out tonight! Gabriel, please be a good boy!

Mummy is trying very hard to have me stick to these few resolutions that she has made for me this new year. They are:
1. Be nicer and kinder to my cousins, especially Shannon.
2. Not hit or push when I am playing with other children, especially my cousins.
3. Always remember to say "Please" and "Thank you".
4. Be more obedient to my parents and also to follow instructions better.
5. Be more patient and lose my temper less often.
6. Speak properly without having to shout or scream.

That's all so far but I think Mummy will add more to the list if I don't start behaving better. I am going to try very very hard to be a good boy so that Mummy and Daddy don't get angry at me so often. :)
